Soft sunset’s light. Like baking a cake.

Sunset offers this kind of light that we perceive as the best for casual baking. Informal. En passant. Because you have a few apples and prunes and an idea of baking without too much effort.

We have been using recently a recipe that originally started as a chocolate cake with pears and is being reused in new and experimental versions of no sugar cake with fruits, dry fruits, walnuts, ginger bread spices, and now we have to try a savory version. The best thing: the load of fruits/raisins/spices can be such that it is not overwhelming BUT no one notices that there is no sugar in the cake. Maybe a spoonful of honey. So this is casual baking: 20 minutes or so, then a warm and not very hot oven, like a sunset light, does the work.

Which leads us to interior design: the best we can imagine is such that you use all the elements that offer colours and flavours, but you don’t need any additional sweetness. A home that is too sweet is not a place you want to be in for too long, right?
